Fruit Ninja is a mobile game developed by Halfbrick Studios, first released on April 27, 2010 for iOS. The game is the most successful title developed by Halfbrick, and its character of Sensei made several appearances in Barry Steakfries series.

The game has two fully-supported version: The regular free version and Fruit Ninja Classic, a premium version that was based on the older versions of the game.

Summary[]

The game takes place in various dojos (starting with the default wooden dojo, and more can be unlocked later on) with fruit being thrown into the air. The player must swipe their finger across the touch screen as a blade to slice as many fruits as possible in half. Sometimes the bombs are mixed in, which the player must avoid.

Story-wise, the game takes place in the ancient kingdom of Fruitasia. Sensei has organized a training dojo in order to master Juice Jitsu - a mysterious fruit-based martial art. He also recruits four kids - Katsuro, Mari, Han, and Nobu - to be his students and master the Juice Jitsu, also accompanied by a traveling merchant Gutsu and his pet piggy Truffles serving as the shopkeepers. They aren't the only ones who are interested in this martial art, however. The main opposing force is the clan of Deep Fried Samurai, that wants to use the powers for great evil. One of the members of this clan is Rinjin, a former student of Sensei's who was expelled due to his desire to combine fruit powers with dark magic.
