The Wave Rider is one of the vehicles in Jetpack Joyride, first introduced in the 1.5 update. It is a small multicolored jet ski. It can be bought for US$4.99 or won as the last reward from the Turbo Tidal Chase event.
Description[]
After getting the Wave Rider, the lab becomes flooded. Holding the touch screen makes the vehicle go underwater, and releasing makes it jump out. Touching the screen while in the air increases Wave Rider's fall speed. When the vehicle is destroyed, the flood will drain away.
When equipped with Flash, he gets a surfboard with a motor attached to it to keep up with Barry, and he will jump upwards to collect coins and Spin Tokens. However, Flash can sometimes jump too far and be stuck in the water temporarily before Barry overtakes him and he disappears from the screen shortly until he catches up again as normal.
The scientists will swim in the water, and some will be floating in yellow duck-shaped inner-tubes.

- In the past version 1.5 of the game, you either had to wait 5 days after app installation (with an internet connection) or pay to unlock it immediately.
- In current versions, this vehicle can be bought for US$4.99 or won as a reward from the Turbo Tidal Chase event.
- Wave Rider is one out of five premium vehicles, the others being Sleigh of Awesome, DeLorean Time Machine, Hoverboard and Ecto-1.
- Wave Rider is referred to as "Jetski" in the game's code.
- From the April 2019 update onward, a unique theme will play for the default and golden versions of Wave Rider.
