Halfbrick Studios is a video game developer based in Queensland, Australia. They are mainly known for developing Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride[1].
Halfbrick Studios was founded in 2001. The studio is currently based in Brisbane, Australia and has offices in Sydney and Spain.[2] In March 2012, Halfbrick Studios acquired Onan Games for an undisclosed price.[3] Onan is best known for Mandreel, which allows games to support iOS, Android, Flash and HTML development.
The iPhone game Fruit Ninja had accumulated 300 million downloads by January 2013.[4]

Some of the Halfbrick staff is referenced in Jetpack Joyride by either achievement names or clothing items for Barry. These costumes are usually done as a "tribute", when an employee leaves the company.
